Lubbock Cooper traveled to Lubbock High to face off in some district competition.
The Westerners started off hot, gaining a early 7-3 lead, but the Pirates hit them back taking the lead with a three 9-7. Both teams battled in the close game, but Lubbock High pulled ahead in the end winning it 55-51.
Lubbock High goes on to face Lake View on the road February 2nd.
Lubbock Cooper takes on Plainview at home February 2nd.
