Two vacant assistant athletic director positions at Lubbock ISD have now been filled. Long time Coronado Softball Coach J.J. Johnson and Elgin ISD Football Coach Jim Garfield were confirmed Thursday at a Lubbock ISD School Board meeting. They will fill spots made available due to the promotion of Mike Meeks to LISD Athletic Director and the departure of Jennifer Roland for a position in San Antonio.
