The Texas Tech defense didn’t only show shades of last season’s unit in Tempe, AZ, it full on reared it’s ugly head.
It’s obvious by the video game type numbers that the Red Raiders put up, they can produce a Heisman trophy candidate every week, but what you didn’t know, or maybe you did, is that they can do so as well on defense.
And that’s not a compliment.

Arizona State’s junior running back Kalen Ballage number five, after roasting Tech for 185 yards of total offense, including 8 touchdowns, which tied an FBS record.
