Tuesday night at 7 pm Monterey and Lubbock Cooper go head to head in the 5A regional quarterfinals. The game will be played at Frenship High School.
The Lady Plainsmen are undefeated on the season and own a 2-0 record over the Lady Pirates in 2017 with wins of 5-0, and 9-0.
Cooper has gotten to this point by virtue of back to back wins in penalty kicks, the Plainsmen on the other hand dominated their competition scoring 14 goals in two games.
