The Monterey Plainsmen traveled to the Tiger Pit Friday night to take on the Frenship Tigers.

The game started back and forth with teams notched at 6-6 a few minutes in, but then Monterey started to pull ahead. The team went on an 8-0 run to finish the first. The Tigers started to get things closer in the second with Bradley Brooks making a few shots to pull them within 7. However that would not be enough as the Plainsmen continued their dominance in the second half shutting the door on and Tiger comebacks. Monterey ended the game on top 56-48 over Frenship.

Monterey goes on to play Coronado Tuesday at home.

Frenship goes on to play Amarillo Tascosa on the road Tuesday.
