The Monterey Plainsmen visited O’Banion Field on Tuesday night for a district matchup with Coronado.
Ryan Acebedo got things going early for the Mustangs, with a solo shot in the bottom of the first. In the second, the Mustangs would add two more runs. But the Plainsmen would rally in the top of the third for three of their own. Coronado though would go on to win, 10-5.
These two teams will meet up again on Friday at Moegle Field.
