The Coronado Mustangs hosted the Monterey Plainsmen to wrap up the first round of district play.
The Mustangs got off to a quick start in the first with two three pointers by Zach Stepp in the first minute of the game before taking a 23-13 lead into the second quarter. In the second, the Mustangs would extend their lead taking a 50-26 lead into the halftime break, before going on to win 93-64.
Next up for the Mustangs, they will visit Tascosa while Monterey will host Amarillo.
