The Shallowater Mustangs hosted the Littlefield Wildcats on Friday night looking to sweep the season series.
Both teams got off to a very slow start, with Shallowater taking an 11-2 lead at the end of the first quarter before Littlefield made a comeback in the second to make it 21-13 Shallowater at the half. But in the second half the Mustangs would hang on to win, 44-36.
Next up for the Mustangs they will visit Dimmitt on Tuesday while the Wildcats will host Friona.
