The end of a sports season can bring about a range of emotions just as the start of a new one can.
For the New Deal Lions, unfinished business ranks right up there at the top. The Lions suffered a last minute loss to the Panhandle Panthers to end their post season last year. But 2016 is a chance to start new…focused on a goal of improvement with an eye on what lies ahead…
“Well you know we do have a bad taste in our mouths about how last season ended, But we turned around and used that to our advantage. And keep these kids motivated and keep that New Deal tradition going.” says Head Coach Matt Hill.
“Just make sure everybody is ready to play. I feel like I’m in charge of getting everybody excited. I just love being out here with everybody. I think that everbody…we all love playing for Coach Hill and all the coaches and…just make sure everybody is excited and all that, ” added Quarterback Jaxson Durham.
