The No. 23 Red Raider baseball team defeated Sam Houston State, 11-6 Tuesday night in Huntsville, Texas.
They trailed 3-0 early but soon found their offensive groove. Texas Tech responded in the 3rd frame with six runs to take a 3-run lead. Tech scored it’s 11 runs on 12 hits while still stranding 13 base runners.
The win moves the Red Raiders to 4-1. Next, the team travels to Houston for the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic, Feb. 26-28th.
