The Red Raiders were led by Zach Smith and Keenan Evans who both scored 16 points, but Tech shot 6 of 25 from beyond the arc and was out rebounded 39-27.
The scarlet and black cut the lead to 59-56 about halfway through the 2nd half but after that it was all OU.
Texas Tech falls to 2-3 in conference play with the loss and returns home to the USA on the 18th to face TCU.
