Plainview met El Paso Coronado early afternoon Saturday in the final games of the First Bank Classic.
EP Coronado got on the board early, but Plainview responded in the bottom of the first with a run to tie it up. Then later in the inning Ethan Earhart gets a 2 out single then steals 2nd and 3rd. Christian Gomez his a fly ball that’s dropped and Earhart crosses home taking the lead.
EP Coronado responded ferociously, with 7 runs in the 3rd inning to take the lead and later on take the game 14-8.
Plainview plays Lubbock Coronado Saturday night in their final game of the First Bank Classic.
