When you start a season with multiple losses, sometimes things can get our of control fast and it’s all downhill from there.  The reasons could be poor execution, inexperience, and the all too familiar injury bug.

The Ralls Jackrabbits faced such adveristy last season and are looking forward to putting it all behind them in 2016.  A winless 2015 campaign has not deterred the Jackrabbits at all as they prep for the new season.

Some talented skill players look to be an area of stability to rally behind for coach Jeff Caffey’s team.

“Number one we need to stay healthy.  And if we stay healthy, We’re gonna be in good shape. Last year we lost alot of kids and had to play alot of young ones. They got alot of varsity experience when we didn’t intend for them to, ” says Coach Jeff Caffey.

“I think it’s just about learning what you did wrong last season and just try to improve as best you can.  And take it into this season,” says senior running back Matthew Lopez

“To me it’s everything.  Last year was not a good year for me.  For me it’s like Christmas.  That’s how I feel about two a days, ” says Senior Guard and Outside Linebacker David Reyes.

“We just need to try and learn from our mistakes.  And try to compete harder than we did last year,” says Juniro Wide Receiver Xerkk Yocum.

“We just gotta pick’em up and help’em out and everything.  That you can.  And if they don’t know how to do something, just help’em out, ”  says Senior Wide Out Joseph Contreras.
