LUBBOCK, Texas — John McMillon has decided to return for his senior season at Texas Tech.
The Tigers confirmed with Red Raider Nation Friday afternoon that they could not come to an agreement with the junior right-handed pitcher before Friday’s 4 p.m. deadline for draft picks to sign.
The Tigers selected McMillon in the 11th round of Major League Baseball’s Amateur Draft in June.
In his three seasons with the Red Raiders, McMillon has an 11-6 record and 169 strikeouts in 136 innings pitched.
