LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech catcher Braxton Fulford was named to the Buster Posey Catcher of the Year award watch list on Monday.
Fulford is batting .250 with 11 RBIs on the season. He is excellent defensively, and has thrown out several runners on the basepaths.
The Lubbock native has helped the No. 2 Red Raiders go 16-1 so far.
