The running back announced on Twitter Tuesday he will enter the transfer portal.

After leading the team in rushing as a freshman in 2016, Ward had to redshirt in 2016 because of academic troubles.
Ward played in nine games last season and rushed for 341 yards and three touchdowns, but two of those scores came in the season opener against Ole Miss.
During spring practice, new head coach Matt Wells suspended Ward for “internal issues”.
