LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech softball matched a school record with six All-Big 12 Softball awards on Wednesday.
Junior outfielder Karli Hamilton led the way with a unanimous first team selection.
Jessica Hartwell, Heaven Burton and Peyton Blythe earned second team honors and Blythe also joined Zoe Jones on the All-Freshman team.
Hamilton led the conference with 73 hits and was named Big 12 Player of the Week three times this season. She also set a Texas Tech single-season record with seven triples.
The Red Raiders are set to open up the 2019 Phillip 66 Big 12 Championships in Oklahoma City on Friday.
Texas Tech opens pool play with Kansas at 11 a.m. Friday and then faces top-seed Oklahoma at 2 p.m.
