The deadline for teams to sign 2018 draft picks has passed and Texas Tech’s Caleb Kilian did not reach an agreement with the Baltimore Orioles according to a masnsports.com report.

MASN’s Steve Melewski reports that the Orioles signed their first 19 picks before their first unsigned player. Baltimore selected Kilian in the 20th round.

The sophomore right-handed pitcher began the year in the bullpen before moving into the starting rotation five weeks into the season and finished with a team-leading nine wins.

Kilian is the only underclassmen drafted to return to Texas Tech.
