Texas Tech fell behind in the first quarter and was never able to catch TCU in Wednesday’s 76-62 loss to the Horned Frogs in Forth Worth.
Jada Terry gave the Lady Raiders a 10-8 lead with 4:13 to go in the first but TCU go on a 7-0 run to take the lead for good.
Ivonne CookTaylor led Texas Tech with 18 points in the loss.
The Horned Frogs entered the game as the Big 12 leader hitting eight three pointers per game and kept up that pace finishing 8-for-22 from behind the arc.
TCU’s Jada Butts led all scorers with 23 points.
Texas Tech (11-12, 3-9) hosts Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at United Supermarkets Arena.
