Texas Tech welcomes some familiar faces to the Lubbock Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

The Red Raiders open the double-elimination bracket with New Mexico State at 1 p.m. Friday at Rip Griffin Park.

Texas Tech beat the Aggies twice this season.

The other side of the bracket features Louisville and Kent State at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Red Raiders split a two-game series with the Cardinals earlier this season in Louisville.

The series games will stream live on the Watch ESPN app.

Texas Tech just missed out on a top 8 national seed.  The Red Raiders are the 9th national seed meaning if they were to win the Lubbock Regional they would have to travel to Athens, Georgia unless the Bulldogs did not advance to Super Regional play.
