The NCAA approved Texas Tech wide receiver McLane Mannix’s waiver, meaning the junior transfer from Nevada will be immediately eligible.
In his two seasons as a member of the Wolfpakc, Mannix, who is a native of Midland, caught 107 passes for 1,653 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. He adds much needed depth to a Red Raider receiving position group which lost Antoine Wesley to the NFL.
Mannix will make his debut in Tech’s season opener against Montana State on August 31st.
