Keenan Evans scored 25 of his career-high 32 points after the half to help the Red Raiders beat No. 22 Nevada, 82-76, in overtime on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders (7-1) trailed by as many as eleven points in the second half came from behind to hand the Wolfpack their first loss of the season.

Texas Tech’s final nine points of the second half came from the free throw line including the Justin Gray’s game-tying shot from the charity stripe with 23 seconds remaining.

Zach Smith blocked a three-point attempt in the final seconds to force overtime and in the extra frame the Red Raiders outscored the Wolfpack 12-6 to get the win and improve to 5-0 at home.

Texas Tech hosts Kennesaw State at 8 p.m. on December 23 at United Supermarkets Arena.
