The 2017 Texas Tech Volleyball team is looking for consistency this season and its began with middle blocker Allison White.

The true freshman from Argyle, Texas leads the team with 28 blocks.

“Well she’s super consistent, puts up a good block on both sides of the net,” Head coach, Tony Graystone said. “Her offense and defense are strong and she’s not necessarily the center piece of a game plan yet, but as we go through matches she’s really picked it up.”

Even making quite the impression on her fellow teammates.

“She’s so poised in a hard situation,” Middle blocker, Katy Keenan said. “I mean her defense and offense is incredible for her age and I just can’t imagine how good she’s going to get.”

White adding it’s all because of the people who surround her within the program.

“The coaches and players have made it so easy. They just made me feel welcomed and right off the bat a part of the team so I think just the people surrounding me have made it so easy,” White said.
