Texas Tech running back Desmond Nisby announced on Twitter Wednesday he plans to transfer for his senior season.

Nisby rushed for 273 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns in his one season with the Red Raiders.
The Diablo Valley College transfer also earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors after rushing for 93 yards and four touchdowns against Kansas.
Texas Tech returns senior Tre King and sophomore Da’Leon Ward at running back next season.
