Texas Tech avenged an earlier loss to Iowa State with a 76-58 win over the Cyclones Wednesday at the United Supermarkets Arena.

Zhaire Smith had several highlight reel dunks on his way for a career high to help the seventh-ranked Red Raiders improve to 15-0 at home this season.

Texas Tech shot 50 percent from the field in the first half to lead 39-22 at the break.

Iowa State started the second half on a 12-6 run to pull within one point at 45-44 but the Red Raiders responded with back-to-back dunks from Smith and Keenan Evans.

Texas Tech (20-4, 8-3) returns to action against Kansas State at 7 p.m. Saturday in Manhattan, Kansas.
