Junior quarterback Colt Garrett announced Tuesday on Twitter he will enter the NCAA tranfer portal.
The Lubbock-Roosevelt product will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Garrett made his Red Raider debut as a freshman against Kansas but did not attempt a pass in the game.
He appeared in two games during his sophomore season and his only career pass and completion was a 44-yard touchdown pass to Erik Ezukamna against Lamar.
Garrett is the second Texas Tech quarterback to announces plans to transfer this week. Mclane Carter made his announcement on Monday.
