The Texas Tech Basketball team announced on Friday that it has hired Ulric Maligi as an assistant coach.
Maligi is an Arlington, Texas native and a graduate of Howard University, where he was a student manager for the basketball team.
He comes to the Red Raider program after three seasons working for Texas A&M. He has also held positions at SMU, Houston, Stephen F. Austin and UTA.
