Texas Tech lost to TCU, 27-3, on Saturday in the Red Raider’s last home game of the season and last game in the Jones for 16 seniors.
In the first, Texas Tech would eat up over eight minutes on 21 plays, 71 yards for three points. The Horned Frogs would answer to start the second quarter making it 7-3 and add another field goal before going into halftime.
TCU would come out in the third to widen the lead 17-3.The Red Raider offense struggled to find momentum the entire game.
Nic Shimonek ended the day 17-33 for 137 yards and a pick six to make it 27-3 before McLane Carter was brought in with less than 4 minutes remaining in the game.
Texas Tech will travel to Austin to face the Longhorns at 7 p.m. after Thanksgiving day.
