Texas Tech will host the regional round of the NCAA Tournament for a second straight year.
The Red Raiders are the No. 5 national seed meaning if they advance past the regional round they will also host a super regional.
Tim Tadlock’s team opens regional play with Delaware (34-21) at 2 p.m. Friday at Rip Griffin Park.
The other regional game features Arizona and Sam Houston State at 6 p.m. Friday.
The Red Raiders beat Arizona earlier this season 13-1 in Lubbock.
