On Sunday afternoon, Texas Tech Legend Corky Oglesby passed away after battling pancreatic cancer. Oglesby joined the Texas Tech Athletic Department as an assistant basketball coach in 1969 before being named the head men’s track and field coach from 1975 to 1995. After finishing up as a coach, he was director of special projects for the Red Raider Club until his passing.
