In the Red Raiders season opener, Texas Tech’s offense showed a balance that didn’t exist last season.
Tech rushed the ball mores times (40), than they threw the football (35).
The rushing attacked featured four different running backs.
Tech senior running back Justin Stockton led the team with two rushing scores, which was more rushing touchdowns than he had scored all of last season, and Desmond Nisby, who led the team with 57 rush yards on six attempts.
