Nine seniors played their final game for Texas Tech softball at last week’s Big 12 Tournament.
Head coach Adrian Gregory is now reloading that roster and it will have at least one local product, who just happens to go by the nickname “Bullet.”
Frenship’s Marissa Mirabal signed a letter of intent to Texas Tech Wednesday.
Mirabal has 35 stolen bases during her Tiger career.
The speedy left fielder was a three-year letterwinner and a two-time all-district selection. She finished her career with a batting average of .348 and helped the Tigers to the area round of the 6A playoffs.
