Texas Tech split its two pool play games at the Big 12 Softball Championship, defeating six seeded Kansas 7-3, and losing to top seeded Oklahoma 8-0.
In their first game, the Red Raiders used a four run third inning to take a lead they would never relinquish, and Erin Edmoundson threw another complete game to pick up her 19th win of the season.
In game two, the Texas Tech bats were held to just one hit as the Sooners continued their undefeated run in the Big 12 this year.
The Red Raiders will have one more game Saturday, and they will most likely play for third place.
