LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech has become a destination spot for graduate transfers.

Virginia Tech’s Chris Clarke is the latest to commit to Chris Beard’s Red Raiders.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 8.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists last saeason for the Hokies.

Clarke is the second graduate transfer to commit to Texas Tech in less than a week.

On Saturday, Stephen F. Austin grad T.J. Hoylfield announced he would play his final season for Texas Tech.

Meanwhile, Josh Mballa won’t be returning for another season.

Mballa scored 13 points in 17 games last season.  He’s the third player to leave this off season along with Khavon Moore and Malik Ondigo.
