Texas Tech guard Zhaire Smith announced via Twitter he’s declaring for the 2018 NBA draft but will not hire an agent.

Smith has until June 11 to withdraw his name and return for his sophomore season.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 11.3 points and five rebounds during his freshman campaign.
Some mock drafts have Smith going in the first round. This year’s NBA Draft will be held on June 21.
