It was a crazy day in college football but Patrick Mahomes and the Texas Tech Red Raiders handled their business with a 69-17 win over Stephen F. Austin.
Mahomes came into the season with big expectations and put on a show tonight, number five threw for 483 yards and four touchdowns and added two more TDs on the ground.
The Junior QB connected with 17 different receivers in the blow out.
Defensively the Red Raiders looked improved while forcing three Lumberjack turnovers. Stephen F. Austin ended the game with only 58 rushing yards.
Next week the Red Raiders face their first big test of the season on the road against Arizona State, the Sun Devils are currently in action against Northern Arizona.
