The Texas Tech Red Raider basketball team have won four straight games after defeating Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Saturday night.
The team is not in the top 25 in either the AP or coaches’ poll, but they do rank 24th in RPI and 2nd in strength of schedule. Those should be enough to get them into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007, but head coach Tubby Smith says, there’s no special formula.
“You know, we just have to win,” said Smith. “You do what you have to do, and that’s it. We have certain goals and that’s to reach certain milestonrs and get to post season play. We’ve got to take care of today’s practice, take care of tomorrow… Make sure we play well. That’s what takes care, I don’t know if there’s a number of wins we have to have or whatever.”
