For the second game in a row, the Texas Tech Red raiders forced overtime. And for the second consecutive game they came up empty handed as the Red Raiders fell at home to Iowa State 82-80. Texas Tech had opportunities in regulation and in overtime to win. Zach Smith just missed a three point shot in regulation…clanking off the rim. With five seconds left to play in overtime, Keenan Evans passed the ball to Smith and over to Devon Thomas. Thomas made the shot, however he shot the ball too late. With the loss the Red Raiders drop to 17-10, 5-10 in Big 12 play. Texas Tech will be back in action February 25th in Stillwater, Oklahoma against Oklahoma State.
