Confirmed by sources with knowledge of the situation, junior quarterback Patrick Mahomes underwent surgery on his left wrist to repair a broken scaphoid.
The injury was first reported by RedRaiderSports.com, and then confirmed by sources with knowledge of the situation.
It is unsure at this point how significant the injury was, and how long it will take for the injury to heal. The injury occurred in the Red Raiders 66-59 loss to Oklahoma on October 22.
At this point, it is unknown how or if this will affect Mahomes draft status, should he decided to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
