JARED SANDERSON IS LEAVING HIS POST AS HEAD FOOTBALL COACH IN LEVELLAND FOR THE SAME POSITION AT MIDLAND GREENWOOD. SANDERSON GOT HIS FIRST HEAD COACHING JOB WITH THE LOBOS AND BUILT THEM INTO PERENNIAL PLAYOFF CONTENDERS.
AS WE MENTIONED EARLIER THIS WEEK, THE LOBOS HAD TWO OF THE FIVE HIGHEST COMBINED SCORING GAMES IN THE STATE OF TEXAS THIS YEAR INCLUDING A 82-73 WIN OVER DECATUR…THE HIGHEST SCORING PLAYOFF GAME IN 11-MAN UIL PLAYOFF HISTORY…155 POINTS.
SANDERSON AND HIS WIFE GREW UP CLOSE TO THE PERMIAN BASIN AREA, SO THIS IS A RETURN TO HOME.
SANDERSON IS EXPECTED TO START HIS DUTIES AT MIDLAND GREENWOOD NEXT WEEK.
