Seminole and Bushland met at the Rip Griffin Center Friday night for an area round championship matchup.
The Maidens came out strong in the first half, taking a 33-22 lead into the halftime break. In the third quarter, neither team could muster up much offense, with both teams scoring only 6 points. The Maidens would hold on to win 57-46.
Next up for Seminole, they will take on Levelland on Thursday in the regional quarterfinals.
