Seminole Looks to Rebound from a Tough 2015 Season both Mentally and Physcially

Can you feel it?  It’s football time in the state of Texas as a majority of high schools from the panhandle to the coast begin fall practice.

This is a time of high expectations and anticipation. Everyone has the same record and everyone has the chance to do something special.

One of those teams hoping for a turn around in fortunes in 2016 are the Seminole Indians. Kent Jackson’s team looks to rebound form a rough 2015 season which saw them finish 1-9 overall, 0-4 in district play.  One area working in the Indians favor is experience.  Returning ten of their starters on offense and nine on defense.

“They say experience is a very very important part of what we do, You tell you if it dosen’t kill ya, it makes you better…if that’s the case we’re really excited cause we thought whar we went through last year was gonna kill us a time or two.  It didn’t and it says a lot about their character and perseverance regardless of what that record was.  And I had a blast working with them everyday and that’s all you can ever ask of any group of kids, ” says Coach Kent Jackson.
