The Shallowater Mustangs hosted Friona on Tuesday night to wrap up the regular season.
The Mustangs got out on top early, taking a 28-19 lead into the halftime break. Friona would not quit though, battling the entire third quarter to cut the lead to 36-31 entering the final frame. In the fourth, the Mustangs would have to fight the enire way, holding on to win 50-47.
