The Shallowater Mustangs faced off with Sanford-Fritch at Canyon High on Tuesday in the bi-district round of the playoffs.
The Mustangs raced out to a 51-39 lead in the third quarter. In the fourth, Sanford-Fritch would fight back, but Shallowater would hang on to win 51-39.
Next up, Shallowater will take on Slaton in the area round of the playoffs.
