Shallowater faced Alpine in game two of the regional after taking the Bucks down 10-0 Thursday.
The game started similarly today with Shallowater scoring runs fast and easily in the game. The Bucks responded with a few runs of their own, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Mustangs who won 7-3.
The Mustangs move on to the state tournament, where they will play the series winner of West and Central Heights.
