The Shallowater Mustangs hosted the Dimmitt Bobcats on Friday night for their home opener in district play.
The Mustangs got out on top to start the game, 22-17 at the end of the first quarter. From there the Mustangs would lead at the end of every quarter before going on to win 67-58.
Next up for the Mustangs, they will host Muleshoe on Tuesday.
