After scoring only 11 points in the first half against Kansas State, the Lady Raiders trailed by 18 at the break and the lead was too much to overcome as they fell to the Wildcats 65-53.

Texas Tech outscored Kansas State 42-36 in the second half, but it was not enough after shooting 4-of-26 in the first half, just 15.4% from the field.

Lady Raiders’ senior guard Ryann Bowser led the team in scoring with 15 points, all of which came from beyond the arc where she was 5-of-10 on the afternoon.

Kansas State senior guard Megan Deines stole the show scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-15 from the field, four field goals coming from 3-point land.

The Lady Raiders will be back in action at #4 Baylor on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.
