South Plains men’s basketball survived Panola, 88-84, in the third round of the NJCAA men’s basketball national tournament.
The Texans were led in scoring by Tech signee Jordan Brangers who finished with 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting on the night, including four three-pointers.
Another Tech signee Josh Webster finished with four points on 2-for-6 shooting on the night, and also added five assists.
The No. 2 nationally seeded South Plains Texans advance to face No. 7 seed Vincennes in the third round of the national tournament. First tip of that game is set for 2 p.m. CT from Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS.
