Texas Tech is currently coming off a homes series loss vs Cal State-Fullerton, but the Red Raiders will look to turn things around against a different California power: Cal-Berkley.
The Bears are currently ranked 12th in the country by D1Baseball.
Tech sees this as an opportunity to turn the current trend around and gain some confidence.
“We talked about it as soon as we were done last weekend about the opportunity in front of us,” said head coach Tim Tadlock. “It’s not every year you have this type of opportunity on your schedule in preseason, and we’re excited about going out there and playing.”
The Red Raiders enter the four-game series at 8-5 on the young season, while Cal is coming off a four-game sweep in Austin of the University of Texas.
