The Big 12 Conference announced the preseason poll for the Conference and Texas Tech is picked to finish tied for seventh. The Baylor Bears garnered all but one first place vote followed by Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas State, TCU, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Kansas.
This is the highest the Lady Raiders have been picked since Candy Whitaker was named head coach.
The Lady Raiders begin their season on November 4th at home against Midwestern State. Their conference season begins just after Christmas on the road against Texas on December 29th.
